Why is the location of the impact important?
If the impact is located in the driver’s line of vision, we may be able to repair the damage; however, since this could affect your visibility, it would be best to replace the windshield. If the impact is located too close to the body of the vehicle , we will not be able to use the equipment needed to repair the damage, and the windshield will have to be replaced.
How long will it take before I can safely drive my vehicle?
You can usually drive away immediately after a windshield repair or a side window replacement. For windshield replacements, we recommend you wait 30 minutes after the replacement has been completed.
The technician will inform you if any additional time is required.
