Why should I repair or replace my windshield?
The windshield represents 30% of the structure of your vehicle. It therefore plays a vital role in helping maintain the vehicle's structural strength in the event of a rollover or front-end collision. It also helps ensure the airbags deploy as they should to protect your passengers. A new, properly fitted windshield aids in restoring the structural strength of the vehicle. It is a part of your vehicle that should not be underestimated.
How can I know whether my auto glass damage can be repaired or whether it needs to be replaced?
If your windshield damage is smaller than the size of a loonie ($1 coin), is not in the driver's line of vision, and is at least 4 cm from the edge of the windshield, we will likely be able to repair it.
If your windshield damage consists of more than 3 impact points or a crack larger than a loonie ($1), is in the driver's line of vision, or is less than 4 cm from the edge, we strongly recommend that you replace it.
