Advanced driver-assistance systems are often linked to cameras affixed to the windshield of the vehicle. These cameras capture data related to the traffic and road environment. A camera that has not been recalibrated following a windshield replacement may perform poorly.
At Lebeau Vitres d’autos®, our experts are trained in the latest technology and use patented tools. When we replace a windshield that incorporates a driver-assistance system, we recalibrate the camera and adjust it on the new windshield.1 We do not disconnect the camera from its power supply when replacing the windshield.

Thank you!
How much does advanced driver-assistance systems recalibration cost?
The cost of static or dynamic recalibration ranges from $225 to $250. If the vehicle requires universal recalibration, i.e. both methods, the cost varies between $450 and $500.
Some automakers state that if the windshield is replaced, the camera must be calibrated at one of their dealerships. Is this true?
No. In 2012, the Dutch advertising code authority instructed a manufacturer (Volvo) to withdraw this assertion and acknowledge that just like dealers, the technicians at Belron (including those at Lebeau®) could safely replace windshields equipped with a camera.
