Why is the location of the impact important?
If the impact is located in the driver’s line of vision, we may be able to repair the damage; however, since this could affect your visibility, it would be best to replace the windshield. If the impact is located too close to the body of the vehicle , we will not be able to use the equipment needed to repair the damage, and the windshield will have to be replaced.
Can you guarantee that the chip will be invisible after the repair has been completed?
No. A windshield chip repair prevents further damage to your glass and restores the structural integrity of the vehicle. Following a repair, a slight blemish or imperfection where the impact occurred is normal. However, in most cases, you’ll notice a big improvement in the appearance of your windshield. If this is not the case, we will credit the cost of the repair either towards a new windshield or, in the case of an insurance claim, back to the insurance company when the windshield is replaced.
