Some automakers state that if the windshield is replaced, the camera must be calibrated at one of their dealerships. Is this true?
No. In 2012, the Dutch advertising code authority instructed a manufacturer (Volvo) to withdraw this assertion and acknowledge that just like dealers, the technicians at Belron (including those at Lebeau®) could safely replace windshields equipped with a camera.

What types of advanced driver-assistance systems recalibration are available?
There are currently two advanced driver-assistance system recalibration methods: static and dynamic. Some vehicles require that both methods be used. Static calibration is done in our service centres using a set of targets and patented tools. With the dynamic method, the technician must drive the vehicle to recalibrate the camera. The universal method requires complete recalibration using both processes.

We recalibrate these systems only after replacing a windshield. Should your system malfunction, contact your dealer.
