You can usually drive away immediately after a windshield repair or a side window replacement. For windshield replacements, we recommend you wait 30 minutes after the replacement has been completed.
The technician will inform you if any additional time is required.

Can you guarantee that the chip will be invisible after the repair has been completed?
No. A windshield chip repair prevents further damage to your glass and restores the structural integrity of the vehicle. Following a repair, a slight blemish or imperfection where the impact occurred is normal. However, in most cases, you’ll notice a big improvement in the appearance of your windshield. If this is not the case, we will credit the cost of the repair either towards a new windshield or, in the case of an insurance claim, back to the insurance company when the windshield is replaced. Please refer to the Guarantees section of the website for more details.
Why should I repair or replace my windshield?
The windshield represents 30% of the structure of your vehicle. It therefore plays a vital role in helping maintain the vehicle's structural strength in the event of a rollover or front-end collision. It also helps ensure the airbags deploy as they should to protect your passengers. A new, properly fitted windshield aids in restoring the structural strength of the vehicle. It is a part of your vehicle that should not be underestimated.
